Argentine Government Announces Sale of PROCREAR Land Plots

The National Government announced the public auction of three plots of land from the dissolved PROCREAR program, located in Buenos Aires, Paraná, and Santa Fe, as part of the state asset liquidation process. Through resolutions 498, 499, and 500 published this Friday in the Official Gazette, the auction of the Buenos Aires Station plot (CABA), Parque Federal (Santa Fe), and Paraná (Entre Ríos) was formalized. The auctions will be held electronically via the COMPR.AR portal. According to the Argentine News Agency, the Buenos Aires Station plot, located on Avenida Suárez and Luna, covers an area of 2,903.77 m² and has a base price of US$ 2,977,941. The Parque Federal plot is situated on Avenida Belgrano 5000, between Padilla and Agustín Delgado, in Santa Fe city, with an area of 6,418.47 m² and a base auction price of US$ 3,649,310.34. The Paraná plot, covering 49,990.56 m², is located on Avenida Ejército 2751 between Pablo H. Crausaz and General José María Sarobe in the Entre Ríos capital, with a base price of US$ 966,187.72. The auctions will be conducted with the intervention of the National Appraisal Tribunal, which established the base values for each property in compliance with current regulations. This procedure is part of the official strategy to organize state assets and allow the private sector to continue developments interrupted by the program's closure, safeguarding resources and ensuring transparency in the process. The Government will continue to announce new auctions in various localities across the country in the coming weeks through the Official Gazette. The closure of the PROCREAR program was decided following a report from the General Audit Office, which detected deficiencies such as delays in housing delivery, excessive expenses, complaints about habitability conditions, and a lack of manual updates.
